RoAnvil terms of service

RoAnvil makes videos in the Roblox style — in a Brookhaven-style town. This is a beta: you sign in with Discord, and we accept accounts older than 90 days. What data we keep is in the privacy policy (/privacy). By accepting the terms, you agree to them for all your requests.

RoAnvil is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or game creators. Roblox and Brookhaven are trademarks of their owners. The town, characters and props in our videos are built by us; we don't use game assets or logos.

Age

You can use the service from 18. If you are under 18 — only if your parent or guardian knows about the service and agrees, and an adult makes the payments.

What we don't make

  • Sex and 18+ content, blood and cruelty for its own sake. In videos for kids, scary stays mild.
  • Videos that mock, accuse or impersonate a real person.
  • Political campaigning, extremism, calls to violence, hate against people for any reason.
  • Instructions for making weapons, poison, explosives, drugs or hacking anything, including cheats and account hacking.
  • Other people's characters, brands and logos. Your own — fine.
  • Fakes posing as real news, documents or footage.

We may decline or stop a request. We don't reveal or show how the service works inside.

Your characters and materials

  • By uploading a character model, texts, screenshots or music, you confirm you have the right to use them.
  • We check every model. We may decline a model that fails the check, even if you approve it.
  • Your characters are visible only to you and used only in your videos.
  • A deleted character no longer appears in your videos.

Balance and mode sponsorship

  • The balance is in US dollars. For now you can top it up through the manager.
  • One world is available now — Brookhaven. We build other modes once clients raise the amount for their development.
  • The "SPONSOR $10 HERE" button immediately moves the contribution from your balance into the mode's fund. A contribution supports development, it is not a purchase: the finished mode becomes available to all RoAnvil clients.
  • If we decide not to build a mode, we return the contributions to your balance.

Voices

  • Your own voice from your own recording — fine.
  • A living person's voice — only with that person's own consent. Voices of celebrities and creators — not allowed.

Real people

You can tell stories about your family and friends under their real names if they don't mind. You confirm this.

Finished videos

  • The finished video is yours: publish it and earn from it.
  • The watermarked preview is only for checking; don't publish it.
  • We don't hand out source files, projects, scene code or styles.
  • We show your video as an example of our work only with your permission.
  • Video files are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Download them in time.

Data

We store your name, requests, characters and files to make videos. Voice-over text goes to the speech synthesis service. We don't share your data with anyone else.

Changes

If the terms change, we'll ask you to accept them again at your next login.
